Die Luftrettungsstation Christoph 17 in Kempten im Allgaeu ist eine der wenigen Stationen, die gegenwaertig (Stand September 2009) noch von Bundesministerium des Innern als Zivilschutzhubschrauber betrieben werden. Seit laengerer Zeit hat auch dort eine EC 135 die ehemalige BO 105 abgeloest. Sie ist  ausgeruestet fuer den Bergetau-Einsatz.

The German Ministery for Interal Affairs operates (dated: sept. 2009) one of their few remainig rescue helicopter stations at Kempten/ Allgaeu - next to the Alpes. The name of the station ist "Christoph 17. Quite some time ago the former BO 105 was replaced by a modern EC 135. The helicopter is equipped for rescue service with a mountain rope device.

La base du helicotère SAMU Christoph 17 se trouve près des Alpes. Cette station est une des très rare stations qui sont encore (date: septembre 2009) opérées par la Ministère de l'Intérieur comme hélicoptère de la protection civile.  L'hélicoptère est équipé  avec un dispositif de corde de montagne.
